Cinnamon Roll Collagen Protein Shake
This Cinnamon Roll Collagen Protein Shake delivers all the cozy, bakery-case flavor of a warm cinnamon roll without the refined sugar, flour, or inflammatory oils. Unsweetened almond milk forms a creamy, dairy-light base, while grass-fed collagen peptides supply easily absorbed amino acids like glycine and proline that support joint, skin, and gut tissue repair. Ceylon cinnamon — chosen over cheaper cassia cinnamon for its lower coumarin content and gentler, sweeter flavor — brings warmth along with research-backed benefits for blood sugar regulation and inflammation reduction. A frozen banana and a spoonful of almond butter lend natural sweetness and healthy monounsaturated fats, while a touch of pure maple syrup and vanilla extract round out the cinnamon-roll flavor profile without spiking blood sugar the way refined sugar would. A pinch of nutmeg and sea salt enhance the bakery-spice notes, and a dusting of extra cinnamon and nutmeg on top makes this shake feel like dessert while functioning as a nourishing, anti-inflammatory meal or snack. Ready in under five minutes with just a blender, this shake is ideal for a post-workout recovery drink, a quick anti-inflammatory breakfast, or a mid-afternoon treat that satisfies a sweet tooth while supporting long-term joint and metabolic health.
