Welcome to Platewise. By creating an account or using platewise.ai or app.platewise.ai (the “Service”), you agree to these terms.

The Service is in beta

Platewise is provided “as is” during public beta. Features may change, break, or be removed, and data created during the beta may be modified or deleted as the product evolves. We'll do our best to preserve your saved recipes, but you should not treat the Service as your only copy of anything important.

AI-generated content and food safety

Platewise uses artificial intelligence to read, generate, and modify recipes and cooking guidance. AI output can be wrong. You are solely responsible for the food you prepare and consume, including verifying cooking times and temperatures, checking ingredients against your allergies and dietary restrictions, and following safe food-handling practices. Platewise does not provide medical, nutritional, or dietary advice; consult your doctor for guidance about your diet.

Your account

You must provide a valid email address to sign in. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts that abuse the Service, including automated or excessive use of AI features.

Your content

Recipes you scan, save, or remix remain yours. You grant us the license needed to store, process, and display them back to you, including processing them with third-party AI providers to deliver the Service's features. Don't upload content you don't have the right to use.

Acceptable use

Don't attempt to disrupt the Service, access other users' data, resell access, or use the Service for anything unlawful.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Platewise and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including outcomes of preparing or consuming food based on its output.

Changes

We may update these terms as the beta evolves; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance. We'll note the “last updated” date above.
