Crispy Korean-Style Cauliflower Bites with Gochujang Glaze
These crispy Korean-style cauliflower bites deliver all the crunch and flavor you crave without any gluten in sight. Cauliflower florets are coated in a light gluten-free rice flour batter, baked until golden and crackly, then tossed in a sticky-sweet-spicy gochujang glaze made from certified gluten-free gochujang, honey, garlic, and sesame oil. The result is an addictive combination of textures and bold Korean flavors that works just as well as a dinner side as it does a shareable appetizer. Because this recipe relies on naturally gluten-free ingredients like rice flour, cornstarch, and fresh vegetables, it's an easy way to enjoy restaurant-style Korean fried cauliflower at home while staying fully gluten-free. Just be sure to check your gochujang and soy sauce labels, as some brands use wheat as a thickener or fermentation base — look for certified gluten-free or tamari-based alternatives to keep this dish celiac-safe. Finished with a shower of toasted sesame seeds and sliced scallions, these bites are crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and coated in a glossy glaze that balances heat, sweetness, and umami in every bite.
